Every step counts, especially when it's taken for a purpose. BOLD Companies proudly sponsors the Monet Richardson Community Foundation's annual 5K, held at East Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill. This event is more than just a run/walk; it's an opportunity to create awareness and support for youth in communities throughout North Carolina.
The Running With the Angels 5K Run & Walk, organized by the Monet Richardson Community Foundation, will bring people together for an inspirational morning on Saturday, March 23rd, starting at 8 a.m. This event not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also contributes to a noble cause, making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals.
Chris Ehrenfeld, CEO of BOLD Companies and BOLD Foundation, along with Susan Shareshian from Varsity on Franklin, recently shared their enthusiasm for the cause during an interview with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, February 20. Listen to their insightful discussion about their commitment and sponsorship on 97.9 The Hill.
The Monet Foundation, a North Carolina-based 501(c)3 nonprofit, was initiated by Patricia Richardson, a close friend of BOLD, who tragically lost her daughter Krissy in a car accident. Krissy, having recently graduated with a degree in Social Work, harbored a passion for helping others. The foundation seeks to honor Krissy's memory by continuing her legacy, providing essential services and support to families through backpack donations and scholarships.
