Texas developer plans major project in Chatham Co.

A new 300+ acre mixed-use development is in the works in Chatham County, just south of Briar Chapel. Backed by a Texas-based investment firm, the proposed “Fearrington Preserve” would include homes, townhomes, condos, commercial space, and pedestrian trails—underscoring the continued momentum and developer interest in the area.

Chris Ehrenfeld, President of BOLD Companies, weighed in on what this means for Chatham County:
